Code of Conduct of LaVision GmbH
1 Introduction / Preamble
LaVision GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “LaVision”) is a leading global provider in the field of imaging (laser-based) flow measurement technology. The company’s primary objective is to provide complete solutions for the scientific and industrial markets in the field of optical measurement technology. With its innovations, LaVision contributes to the ongoing development of imaging metrology, novel optical sensors, spectroscopic methods, lasers, measurement technologies and software tools.
LaVision is committed to ecologically and socially responsible corporate governance. We also expect our employees to observe the principles of ecological, social and ethical behavior and to integrate them into our corporate culture. Furthermore, we strive to continuously optimize our business activities as well as our products and services in terms of sustainability and encourage all our employees to contribute to this in the sense of a holistic approach.
The Code of Conduct of LaVision GmbH (hereinafter referred to as “CoC”) is based on national and international standards of responsible corporate governance. These include in particular
national laws and regulations,
the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG),
the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises,
the labor and social standards of the International Labor Organization (ILO),
the requirements of ISO standards 9001 (quality management) and 14001 (environmental management).
Every activity for LaVision must be in accordance with this CoC and all relevant laws, regulations and guidelines. The CoC applies to all employees and managers of our company. Our managers have the task of acting as role models and ensuring that employees are supported in implementing the Code of Conduct on an ongoing basis. The management is committed to ensuring the necessary framework conditions for this.

2 Our basic principles
2.1 Social responsibility
Our highly motivated employees work in a creative and attractive working environment with a good work-life balance and thus contribute to competitive quality products and services.
Respect for human rights
We are committed to strict compliance with human rights. This includes the Youth Employment Protection Act, the prohibition of child labor, forced labor, slavery or comparable exploitative activities. Our employees are treated fairly and are free from discrimination, sexual harassment, physical abuse or psychological coercion. We respect freedom of association, the right to trade unions and co-determination rights in works councils.
Health and safety in the workplace
We ensure safe working conditions by complying with applicable occupational health and safety standards. This includes preventive maintenance, emergency plans, personal protective equipment and regular training.
Prohibition of discrimination
LaVision does not tolerate discrimination of any kind. Respect, personal dignity and equal treatment – regardless of origin, gender, religion, age, disability, pregnancy, sexual orientation or political views – are fundamental principles of our actions.
Fair working conditions
We comply with all labor law requirements and organize working hours, remuneration, leave, maternity leave and mobile working in such a way that a work-life balance is guaranteed.

2.2 Ecological responsibility
We are committed to complying with all environmental and sustainability requirements.
Energy and resource efficiency: reducing waste, emissions and the use of raw materials.
Environmental protection: use of renewable energies, continuous improvement of energy efficiency.
Management system: Our environmental management system complies with the requirements of ISO 14001. In future, we will also prepare sustainability reports in accordance with the German Sustainability Code (DNK).
2.3 Ethical business conduct
Fair competition
No price fixing, no market sharing, no practices that violate antitrust law.
Export restrictions and sanctions control
Strict compliance with all laws on export controls and economic sanctions.
Integrity, taking advantage and conflicts of interest
Zero tolerance of bribery, corruption, extortion and embezzlement – in both the public and private sectors. Financial transactions are documented and verified.
Data protection
We meet the expectations of our customers, partners and employees regarding the protection of personal data. Collection, storage and processing are carried out exclusively in compliance with data protection laws, in particular the GDPR.
Confidentiality and intellectual property
We respect and protect the intellectual property rights of our customers, suppliers and partners. Technology and know-how transfers are carried out exclusively in compliance with these rights.
